This plain blade knife from Schrade is great. It flicks open with minimal efffort, has an extremely sharp blade and is well constructed. At the base of the handle it has a lanyard loop. Linerlock, no safety.
The front handle is heavily textured black Zytel. It features a removable pocket clip and a lanyard loop. This knife's small size allows it to be carried in situations where a larger knife would be impractical yet it is instantly ready for action.
This is the Schrade Extreme Survival Assisted Opening framelock knife. It measures a compact 4 3/4" (121mm) open, 2 3/4" (70mm) closed. The 2" (51mm) fine edged bead blast finished 4034 stainless steel blade opens with Schrade's Speed Assist technology (the lever on the handle) and has dual thumb studs (not an auto).
