To their credit, SOG waited until they got it right, and the end result is the SOG-TAC series. The SOG-TAC is an tried-and-true design that looks like nothing else. A full-sized knife, yet relatively slim, the SOG-TAC was designed for more than opening the mail. The blade travel is definitely fast, and once open it locks up like a bank vault. The machined 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum is inset with grooves, which gives two-fold benefits: it makes the SOG-TAC lighter, and gives you a better, more positive grip. The safety locks the blade in both the open and closed positions. A reversible pocket clip sets the knife deep in your pocket for more "discreet" carry. Another subtle feature is the gorgeous up-swept bowie blade. Not only does the blade look good, but its "full belly" design makes it a true "cutter."
