Product Summary: Dozier Thorn /D2 Steel Tactical Folder A sleek handsome one-handed opening side lock folder designed by respected knife maker Bob Dozier. Blade is made of D2 bar stock tool steel. D2 is a high-carbon tool steel, it is known for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Each blade is heat treated, deep frozen and tempered twice. Handle is cold-forged 6063 aluminum, bead blasted and alumite coated. A unique double guard and side lock makes the Dozier Thorn easy and practical to open and a pocket clip gives an additional option to the traditional pocket carry. Blade length is 3 1/8", 4" closed and 7 1/8" open overall. Also available in black, see model ( #4061 ) Cutting tests prove that D2 is one of the toughest steels used in knife making. Results show that D2 cuts twice the amount of media as a standard carbon steel knife. In the C.A.T.R.A.
