The Carson designed M18 features a 180 degree circular pivot with thumb stud detents, ample friction grooves for sure grip, and the “Carson Flipper” which speeds opening and acts as a blade guard. Combine these with the unique blade shape and aluminum handles with G10 inlays and you have a powerful knife with a true personality. The 3 1/4" swedge ground, recurved, spear point, AUS 8 stainless steel (57 - 59 HRC) blade with frost finish offers superior edge retention. Teflon® bearings at the blade pivot assure velvet smooth, quick blade action. The precision CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum handles are hard anodized Titanium Gray with RED textured G10 scales, precision inlaid into the handle for a secure grip! A 420J2 stainless steel locking liner is inset in one handle, and a hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum back spacer is used, all assembled with superior Torx® fasteners. Castellations around the butt on the handle greatly increase security and tactile awareness. The Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS®) makes the folder into a fixed blade when engaged.
