The SWBLOP series has a convenient front mounted safety which locks the blade closed at your discretion. The composite body is super dense, but still lightweight. It's textured design provides a comfortable grip. Using the clip the knife rides well in the pocket (the removable clip provides a nice deep carry leaving only about 1/3 of an inch visible). The black coated 4034 stainless blade comes partially serrated super sharp. The design is both practical and aesthetically pleasant.
his is the S&W SWAT Black Ops Assisted Opening knife. It measures 8" (203mm) open, 4 5/8" (117mm) closed, with a 3 1/4" (83mm) partially serrated gray Teflon coated 440C Stainless Steel blade with thumb studs on both sides.
The handle is grooved titanium powder coated aluminum with a lanyard hole. Release the safety on the back, push the thumb stud and a powerful spring takes over and snaps it open.
