The M16-10KE features British Racing Green handles and a non-reflective black titanium nitride coated blade. It has a Tanto-style blade with dual hollow grinds and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edges. It offers maximum strength in a blade of this size. This knife features AutoLAWKS™, the Lake and Walker Knife Safety innovation taken to the next level. AutoLAWKS™ automatically sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To close the knife, pull the AutoLAWKS™ red button lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. We have made the contoured handles long enough for real work tasks. They are still 6061 T6 hard anodized aluminum, CNC machined with a perimeter radius for comfort. A stainless steel locking liner with friction grooves gives positive locking. As in the larger models, premium AUS 8 stainless steel was chosen for blade steel, for its edge retention and durability. It features the "Carson Flipper" extension to the blade, which aids opening and acts as an additional blade guard.
