Ed Van Hoy's Snap Fire folding knife. This is model 5010 with a razor sharp plain edge blade that is bead blasted for a smooth nonglare finish, and made of premium AUS 8 stainless steel. The handle is CNC machined gray anodized aluminum, with a Teflon-plated stainless steel skeletonized blade guard. The thumb wheels, which are the blade pivoting and locking mechanisim, are stainless steel with a spectral titanium nitride coating, making them very colorful. This knife is lightweight, comfortable. The CRKT Snap Fire Knife, designed by custom knife maker Ed Van Hoy features a 2.375" modified drop point blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .12" thick. The blade has a hole pattern and a non reflective bead blast finish. The gray anodized 7075 T6 aluminum handle, 3.875" closed, has spectral titanium nitride coated stainless steel thumb wheels, skeletonized stainless steel blade guard, compression pivot slide lock with blade safety, and lanyard hole.
